Seminar: Life of a Political Worker in Pakistan
On the 3rd death anniversary of Mohtarma Farkhanda Bokhari, Farkhanda & Shohrat Bokhari Welfare Society (FSBWS) organized a thought-provoking seminar titled “Life of a Political Worker in Pakistan” at Javaid Iqbal Auditorium, Lahore High Court on 26th October 2024.
The seminar, conducted by Mr. Tariq Khurshid, featured esteemed speakers including Allama Dr. Akbar Hussain, Farhatullah Babar, Sardar Latif Khan Khosa, Faisal Mir, Rabbia Bajwa, and others.

Farkhanda & Shohrat Bukhari Welfare Society (FSBWS) proudly organized a special seminar celebrating the Wiladat of Bibi Syeda Fatima tu Zahra (SA) as Women’s Day. The event highlighted the importance of women’s empowerment in Islam, honoring the legacy of Bibi Fatima (SA) as a role model for women worldwide.

The Faiz Festival was a magnificent tribute to the legendary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, bringing together poets, writers, artists, and performers to celebrate literature, music, and intellectual discourse.
The festival featured insightful panel discussions, mesmerizing poetry recitals, soulful musical performances, captivating theater plays, book launches, and inspiring art exhibitions—all reflecting the essence of Faiz’s vision of peace, justice, and human rights.
This year, the Faiz Festival also paid tribute to Prof. Shohrat Bokhari with a special panel discussion on his life and poetry, highlighting his literary contributions and impact on Urdu literature.
This remarkable event once again proved to be a hub of creativity, thought-provoking discussions, and cultural appreciation. We look forward to its return, keeping the spirit of Faiz alive!
Book Launch Ceremony – "Kulliyat-e-Shohrat Bokhari" at GC University
A special literary event was held at GC University to celebrate the launch of “Kulliyat-e-Shohrat Bokhari”, a beautiful collection of poetry by Syed Shohrat Bokhari. Many poets, scholars, and literature lovers gathered to honor his work.
Well-known speakers, including Professor Dr. Saima Iram, Professor Dr. Ali Joo Bokhari, Professor Dr. Saadat Saeed, Dr. Azmat Rubab, Dr. Almas Khannum, and Dr. Maria Ameen, shared their thoughts on his poetry and its importance in Urdu literature.
