Seminar: Legal Reforms Protecting Animals From Cruelty
On the occasion of our seminar for legal reforms to protect animals from cruelty, Ruffles Animal Welfare Registry and Farkhanda & Shohrat Bokhari Welfare Society (FSBWS) organized an important awareness event at Karachi Shuhda Hall, Lahore High Court.
The seminar was hosted by Barrister Maqsooma Bokhari and Rana Hammad Irfan, and featured respected speakers including Neelum Jabar (MPA), Sardar Latif Khosa (MNA), Asif Niswana (President, Lahore High Court Bar), Main Irfan ASC, Prof. Amina Khawja, and Altamush Saeed (Advocate).
The speakers discussed the issue of animal cruelty, the illegal killing of homeless dogs and cats, and the urgent need for stronger laws to protect animals in Pakistan.
The event encouraged kindness, responsibility, and legal reforms to ensure animals are treated with care and dignity.
