Farkhanda Bokhari
Only female political activist who forcefully removed from Pakistan by gen Zia ul haq with handcuffs in a PIA hijacking exchange. She was brutally tortured in Lahore fort . She spent 8 years in exile. A close ally of mohterma benazir Bhutto shaheed . She was awarded pride of performance in 2024 on her autobiography “yeh bazi Ishq ki bazi hai”. She passed away on 21 October 2021 as a result of dengue.
Prof Syed Shohrat Bokhari
A prominent Urdu poet and educationalist. His several poetry books were published as a kulyat in 2024. His prose khoye huwaon ki justajoo was a best seller. Prof bokhari performed extensive work in Farsi on iqbalyat . He served as director of iqbal academy. He passed away 11 October 2001.
Both are buried in Miani sb grave yard in Lahore next to each other.

How We Are Helping Dogs?
Stray Dogs
At FSBWS, we work to protect and care for stray dogs. Our mission is to neuter, spay, and vaccinate them to keep them healthy and safe. After treatment, we find loving homes for them through adoption.
Champion
One of our rescued dogs, Champion, has been successfully vaccinated and spayed. She is now recovering well after surgery. With your support, we can continue saving and improving the lives of many more dogs.

Prof Dr Syed Ali Joo Bokhari
Prof Dr Syed Ali Joo Bokhari is a Pediatrician working in UK. He is also a professor of medical education and has a special interest in children’s heart conditions. His interest in medical research will help our welfare association make an impact on the medical research challenges in Pakistan.

FSBWS Mission
Our mission is to foster a just, compassionate, and progressive society by promoting religious and political harmony, advancing medical research—especially in the fight against Dengue fever—preserving and celebrating Urdu literature, providing legal aid to destitute imprisoned female prisoners, and advocating for the welfare and humane treatment of animals. Through collaboration, education, and support, we strive to create a community where every individual, regardless of background, has access to justice, healthcare, and cultural enrichment while ensuring the well-being of all living beings.
